One login, every camera, every site. A multi-site camera portal for Blue Iris recorders that shows staff only the cameras they should see, without exposing a single recorder to the internet.
Blue Iris is excellent at recording one site. It was never built for someone managing two dozen recorders across several locations or several customers: every site is another address, another login, and another password on somebody's laptop. Nobody can watch two sites at once, a staff member who leaves takes working credentials with them, and no one can answer the question an auditor eventually asks: who looked at which camera, and when?
BlueIrisCombo replaces all of that with one portal and one set of accounts.
What it does
- One screen, many sites. A drag-and-drop grid of live camera tiles mixing cameras from any site on one board. Click a tile for full live video. Boards can be shared with the whole team or kept private.
- Recorders stay hidden. The portal connects to each recorder on the viewer's behalf. The browser never learns a recorder's address, port or password, so there is nothing to write down, screenshot or reuse.
- Access you can revoke instantly. Remove a person's account and their cameras stop, everywhere, without touching a single recorder. The front desk sees the front-desk cameras; the manager sees everything.
- Cameras read from the recorder. No typing camera names by hand; pick a camera by its thumbnail.
- Two-factor for everyone. Every account requires an authenticator app, with no exceptions.
- An audit trail from day one. Every camera view and every configuration change is recorded: who, what, when, from where.
- Support without password sharing. Our staff can help inside a customer's account with a time-limited, fully recorded session instead of asking for a password.
Who it is for
Businesses with cameras at more than one location, property and facility managers, and IT providers who look after cameras for many customers. Hosted on our own hardware in Orange County: no cloud video relay, no footage leaving the building.
Built to the controls a SOC 2 audit examines: encrypted credentials, TLS everywhere, role-based access enforced on the server, mandatory two-factor, and an append-only audit log. Development continues on alerting and finer-grained camera permissions. Ask for a demo.
