It is important upon re-opening our businesses to plan and provide a safe environment for our employees and our customers. Along with social distancing, our government has setup some guidelines forre-opening, in which one, is temperature checks.

Temperature Checks will allow employers to identify those who have elevated or abnormal body temperatures that can be associated with sicknesses. It will give us a chance to re-evaluate an individual before the illness can be spread to our workforce or valued customers.

THERMAL CAMERA FUNCTIONS
High Thermal Sensitivity
The VOx detector offers high thermal sensitivity (≤ 50 mK) that allows Dahua thermal cameras to distinguish objects in a scene with minimal temperature differences. The camera captures detailed images where thermal contrast between object and background is minimal.
The camera is equipped with a white-light illuminator and an external speaker that can be triggered when the camera detects an abnormal event (which relies on user-defined parameters) either via the thermal or the visible-light sensor. The camera also takes a snapshot of the scene and can record the snapshot.
The Dahua Thermal Temperature Monitoring Solution offers the latest hybrid thermal network camera that combines a Vanadium Oxide (VOx) sensor with a 2 MP visible-light sensor. The solution also provides a blackbody calibration device that maintains a customizable constant temperature as a reference point for the thermal camera. The thermal camera coupled with the blackbody calibration device and a feature-rich 4 TB Network Video Recorder delivers a contactless solution for continuous and non-invasive comparison of human skin temperature compared to the blackbody device. Thermal Temperature Monitoring technology enables quick detection of elevated skin temperatures compared to the customizable blackbody calibration device. Thermal imaging equipment can easily be installed and implemented to detect elevated skin temperature in environments such as airports, hospitals, clinics, office buildings, cruise ships, and any large public gathering location.
Generally the setup will require a "traffic lane" of people. People will be travelling in and out of your premises. Before entering your premise a checkpoint will be setup in which the thermal camera should be mounted or standing about 6.5ft high off the ground. Within view of the Thermal Camera a Blackbody unit should be sitting about 9.8 ft away and about 6 ft off the ground. As people pass through this area there temperature will be viewed by the camera and be recorded by an NVR unit. The NVR unit will display what the camera sees on a Monitor, in which people's temperature can be identified. Once Identified, a normal temperature will be allowed to pass while an abnormal temperature will be alerted and a re-inspection should ensue.
