July 20, 2019

What? Quickbooks got hit too? Don’t you feel helpless when you hear all these big companies and big governments are getting hit with Ransomware. Worst of all, most of them are paying the ransom to get their data back. So I wonder, don’t these big companies have better, sophisticated and expensive protections and backups? So what can small business owners can do to protect our business when big business failed? Well, I have to say bigger they are more difficult to protect themselves because they have more attack surface compared to small business.

Education and team communication is vital to prevent these attacks. You have keep talking about those fake emails you received. Tell them not to click on any links that you are not sure of, and most importantly don’t enter your username and password on these websites.
